The SP1R is a completely redesigned in-ear hearing protection and communication solution in a small and compact yet rugged package, built specifically to enhance two-way radio communications in high-noise environments and is powered by your two-way radio, thus eliminating the need for a battery inside the unit. Similar to the rest of Sensear’s portfolio, the SP1R pairs Sensear’s patented SENS® Technology and noise-suppression microphones to allow users in high-noise environments to communicate either via face-to-face or via two-way radios while maintaining 360° audible awareness of your surroundings and protecting your hearing.
The SP1R has the option of in-ear earplugs with an in-ear microphone (no boom mic.) or a lightweight heavy-duty headset with in-ear plugs and an external noise-canceling boom microphone. Additionally, the SP1R-IS is an intrinsically safe option with UL and CSA certifications and is system certified for use with Kenwood's NX and VP series radios.
